Classic Post & Beam is a division of Northeastern Log Homes, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of log home packages for over 25 years. In 1982, Northeastern responded to client demand for home packages that could be built in any suburban setting by developing a line of pre-cut timber frame home kits. Since then, Classic Post & Beam has designed and delivered beautiful homes of enduring quality to customers all over the world.
Energy Efficiency: Every Classic home utilizes a state-of-the-art insulation package, consisting of structural, R-28 insulated wall panels (SIPs) and a vented, R34-rated double roof system. Since there are no studs or rafters to disrupt this envelope of insulation, a Classic home is far more energy efficient than any conventionally built house.
Ease of Construction: All the components of a Classic home -- each post, beam, ceiling joist, roof purlin and exterior SIP -- are pre-cut and numbered for ease of installation. This saves long hours of on-site engineering and cutting. And, every Classic home comes with a construction booklet and a detailed set of structural blueprints, outlining every step of construction.
