Harmony Exchange originated as a small mill to provide planing services to local sawmills and builders in Boone, North Carolina, the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. The local interest for log and timber frame construction was soon realized. Craftsmanship refined as the business matured. During the mid-1980ís, expansion regionally, then nationally was apparent.
Technological advancements continue to improve efficiency, workflow, and production. Drawings, blueprints and specifications are generated by CAD. All timber systems, log structures and flooring are crafted in a 15,000 square foot manufacturing facility under ideal environmental conditions. Laser straight line rips and computerized carbide tools ensure precision flooring and decking. Hand-crafting is the final touch to enhance the natural distinctive qualities of our wood products.
