Situated in the South Cariboo Region of Central British Columbia, we at Original Log Homes Ltd. have been handcrafting custom built log homes, recreational cabins and commercial buildings since 1967.
Within this dry belt region are abundant forests of "virgin" or "first growth" spruce, pine and fir. During the winter months, when the sap is low, we harvest only healthy trees (no bug or fire kill).
The average mean diameter of 12" to 14" is the norm, but larger or smaller diameter logs are available.
