We offer a variety of building methods including our specialty, Scandinavian scribe fit notches with the patented double scribe lateral groove. Our heavy timber work utilizes traditional mortise and tenon joinery, The log or timber roof systems can be executed in simple trusses or intricate hammer beams and king post trusses.
Scandinavian Log and Timber Works homes are from select pine, cedar, fir or oak. Each log is drawknifed, retaining its natural beauty. Then it is precisely scribed and carved to insure a weather tight fit. After being reassembled in our log year, the home is disassembled and trucked to its destination where it is reassembled on its foundation.
