We build custom, hand crafted log and timber structures, employing a variety of building styles and methods including: Scandinavian Scribe-Fit, Chinked System Buildings, Post & Beam and Timber Frame. We are a medium sized, limited company and build between 7 and 12 projects a year depending on size and complexity of the work. We build log cabins and log “castles” and everything in between.
We believe that successful log structures begin with good design (aesthetics and common sense); we can assist with in-house design and planning services, or work with your architect or designer. We are actively involved in the Log Builders’ Association and have a history of implimenting, and evolving new building systems and techniques.
All of our building techniques address settling, drying and checking issues that are inherent with log and timber buildings. We also build and supply other log builders and general contractors with log hand railings and log stairs. Our line of log furniture has won several awards.
