Handcrafted.......naturally: We design and build Handcrafted Log & Timber Structures, using the age-old methods of timber joinery that our Ancestors from the Scandinavian countries of Europe used ,over 400 years ago. Log Building as a craft was revived in Canada in the 1970's thanks to people like B.A.Mackie in northern British Columbia. In the late 1970's we started out as a Scandinavian Full-Scribe Log Home company, building with large pine logs which were hand peeled and scribe-fit together.....a totally natural product. Then in the mid 1980's we met the demand for authentic Timber Dovetail log shells using large pine logs sawn on two sides and notched with a full dovetail corner. To compliment both of these log styles , we produce Timber Trusses, Timber Roof Framing and of course Timber Framing from the ground up as well.
