Choice 6'x12' Canadian Western Hemlock logs are shipped by barge from the West Coast and British Columbia to our plant where they are dovetailed notched, grooved for Styro-Seal insulation, and hewn in two log finishes to your specifications: Hand Hewn, or Hand Planed Smooth. Many of our customers take advantage of this selection of finishes and request a combination of both styles in their StoneMill home (i.e.:, hand hewn exterior walls with hand planed smooth interior walls, girders, beams and roof rafters).
