Because we are adept at both log building as well as old world timber framing techniques, we utilize these skills when designing and constructing each building. Our roof support systems use mortise and tenon joinery, as well as dove tails and other timber framing techniques.

Every building is unique and constructed to accommodate the special needs of the individuals for whom they are built. While we do offer some standard plans, you are not limited to a package design. Our design staff will work with you so that you get the home best suited to your needs.

In addition to the plans contained in our brochure (available at our web site) Ark II offers custom design and engineering services, some of which are illustrated in our gallery.
