Our custom designs feature a shrinkfit, full scribed saddle notch with a planed scarf cut. This technique is proven to be superior to others in shedding water and maintaining a tight fit. Log work comes complete with all windows and door openings cut out. All electrical, plumbing and throughbolt holes drilled and all roof system timbers mortised and tenoned to accept dimensional lumber. Other construction styles we offer include post and beam, timber frame and classic Japanese joinery. Also available are custom crafted log stairs and hand railings. These styles can be combined to produce a truly unique, natural log home.
