Quality logs are harvested by our personal foresters who are experienced and trained to select only the most desireable logs for house construction. Straight sound logs that have a diameter of 12" - 14" are chosen. Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Spruce and Lodgepole Pine are typically the most common choice, although different species and larger sizes are also available. Logs that do not meet our high standards are sold to sawmills.
